Misodoku Privacy policy

Effective October 4, 2026

This policy explains how Misodoku, our mobile puzzle game for Android and iOS, collects, uses, stores, and shares information. Misodoku is developed and operated by Edgar Avanyan, an individual entrepreneur registered in Armenia, under the Avanyan Labs name. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator.

Your game, your progress, your choices. Misodoku keeps your progress on your device and can back it up to your own account so it survives a reinstall. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played, Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose Android crashes and errors, Tenjin to measure advertising campaigns, Google AdMob for ads between levels, and Google Play or Apple for the Remove Ads purchase.

Read about privacy choices or request deletion of your data.

Player progress and identity

Misodoku keeps your progress — completed levels, puzzles in progress, collected story pictures, your daily score, and preferences such as music, sound, and haptics — on your device. The game is fully playable without signing in, and works offline. The daily leaderboard shows characters from the game, not other players; your score is not shared with anyone.

Signing in is optional and uses your own account: Google on Android, Sign in with Apple on iOS. It links your progress to a Firebase player ID so the same levels and story pictures can be restored after a reinstall or on another device. We store a copy of your game progress, that identifier, the app version, and the platform. Your music, sound, and haptics settings stay on the device. Signing in also creates a Firebase Authentication record for that account: an account identifier and, when the provider supplies them, an email address, display name, and profile picture URL. Apple may pass a private relay address instead of your own. We use it only to link and restore your backup, never to contact you or for marketing. We never receive your password.

Misodoku assigns an anonymous Player ID to each installation, shown in the game under Settings → Player ID. It contains no name or email, and it changes if you reinstall the game. We use it for analytics, advertising attribution, troubleshooting, and data requests. It is a pseudonymous identifier, not a guarantee that activity cannot be linked across our services. Uninstalling the game removes local data from your device; your device’s backup services may include app data depending on your settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how Misodoku is played, improve the game, identify problems, and balance its puzzles and pacing.

Analytics includes events such as app sessions, screens opened, levels started and finished, their results, lives left, wrong guesses, hints used, time played, stories started and completed, first-time milestones, setting changes, progress resets, sign-in results, ad consent and ad results, and purchase events. It also includes technical information such as app version, device type, operating system, language, app-instance or installation identifiers, approximate region, and, on Android, the advertising ID. On iOS, analytics does not use Apple’s advertising identifier.

We use these records to evaluate gameplay, retention, advertising, and purchases. We do not send support messages, passwords, or full payment-card details as gameplay analytics. Firebase gameplay analytics is enabled in the app; the advertising privacy form does not switch off this collection.

We use Tenjin to measure which advertising campaigns lead to installs, return visits, first-time and story milestones, and revenue. It processes installation and device identifiers, advertising identifiers where available and permitted, IP address and approximate region, device and app information, session and selected game events, and campaign information. We send the same pseudonymous installation Player ID to Firebase and Tenjin so we can connect campaign and gameplay reports, and we copy the campaign’s network, campaign, creative, and site identifiers into our analytics. On Android, we also send purchase receipts and signatures, product IDs, price and currency, and ad impression revenue to Tenjin for verification and campaign measurement. Tenjin may send attribution and conversion reports to the advertising network that supplied the campaign.

Crash and error diagnostics

On Android, we use Firebase Crashlytics to investigate crashes, application-not-responding errors, and other software errors. Reports can include crash traces, app and build version, device and operating-system information, relevant app state, installation and session identifiers, and recent gameplay events recorded by Firebase Analytics. The iOS version does not send crash reports to us.

We attach the existing pseudonymous Player ID and limited gameplay context, such as the screen, level number, board size, and session and attempt identifiers. This helps us connect a reported problem to the affected game session without requiring sign-in.

For JavaScript errors, our reporter sends an error category and locations within the game's own code. It removes raw error messages, full paths, web addresses, and arbitrary object contents. We do not attach your sign-in name, email address, passwords, or purchase receipts to these reports. Native crash reports use the Crashlytics SDK's diagnostic format.

Diagnostic reporting is enabled in the Android production app to improve reliability. It is independent of advertising consent choices; declining ads or changing advertising privacy options does not disable it. You can contact us about this processing or request deletion as described below.

Ads between levels

Once you are past the early levels, Misodoku shows full-screen ads from Google AdMob at breaks between levels and before a retry, never during a puzzle. Google and its advertising partners process information to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, and prevent fraud — including IP addresses and approximate location, advertising or app/device identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostics. Where required, ads are personalized only with consent; otherwise non-personalized or limited ads are shown, which still process information for delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

The one-time Remove Ads purchase turns these ads off: a player who owns it is not shown ads, and the game does not request them. On iOS, access to Apple’s advertising identifier and tracking that requires permission depend on your response to the system tracking prompt.

In-app purchases

Misodoku offers one optional purchase, Remove Ads, through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The store processes your payment under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not receive your full payment-card number.

We process purchase records — product identifiers, store transaction identifiers, purchase time, price and currency where supplied, and status — to verify the transaction, turn ads off, restore the purchase on request, reconcile refunds, and handle support requests. The purchase is restored from your store account with Settings → Restore purchases; it does not depend on the optional cloud save.

Support information

When you contact labs@avanyan.net, we receive your email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. You may also provide your Player ID, device model, app version, or store transaction reference.

We use this information to respond, investigate problems, and keep necessary support records. Our email provider processes correspondence to deliver and store it. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card information.

Who receives information

Information is processed by the providers needed for these features:

  • Google Firebase, including Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Firestore: the anonymous Player ID, installation identifiers, game and app events, crash and error reports, the optional sign-in record and cloud copy of your progress, and technical information needed to operate, measure, troubleshoot, and secure the game. Firebase privacy information.
  • Google AdMob and advertising partners: ad identifiers, interactions, approximate location, and diagnostics. How Google uses information from apps.
  • Tenjin and the advertising network that supplied a campaign: installation and advertising identifiers, attribution and campaign information, selected game events, and purchase or ad revenue data used to measure campaigns and prevent fraud. Tenjin privacy policy.
  • Apple, for Sign in with Apple: the Apple account identifier, and an email address if you choose to share one (Apple may pass a private relay address instead of your own), when you sign in on iOS. Apple privacy policy.
  • Google Play and Apple: payment processing and purchase verification. Google privacy policy; Apple privacy policy.
  • Email and website hosting providers: support correspondence and the technical information needed to serve this website. See our website privacy policy.

We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing with advertising partners for personalized ads may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. The privacy choices below apply to that processing.

We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect the security and legal rights of our players or business. We limit such disclosures to the information needed.

Privacy choices and consent

You can manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions in your device settings, buy Remove Ads to stop ads, and play without signing in. Google's consent form provides advertising choices where required. Tenjin reads the consent signals stored by that form to apply its attribution consent handling. Withdrawing a consent choice affects future processing, not data already collected.

In the game, Settings → Privacy options opens Google's consent form when Google requires that option, where you can review or change your advertising choices — including opting out of sale or sharing for personalized ads where that right applies. This option does not disable Firebase gameplay analytics or Android crash and error diagnostics. Settings → Privacy policy is always available for information and deletion requests.

On iOS, tracking that requires Apple’s permission is subject to the system tracking prompt.

Changing your analytics or advertising choices does not automatically erase analytics data already collected. To request deletion, follow the instructions below.

How long information is kept

Your cloud save is kept until you delete it or your account. We keep analytics records and support correspondence while needed to understand usage, resolve problems, and follow up on requests, or until you request deletion, subject to the limited exceptions below.

Purchase and refund records are kept as long as needed for delivery, reconciliation, fraud prevention, disputes, and applicable accounting or legal requirements. Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve and follow up on your request.

Analytics and diagnostic information is retained for the period needed to understand usage and resolve problems, subject to the retention settings and deletion processes of the relevant services. Backups and provider security logs may take additional time to expire under those providers’ retention schedules.

Firebase states that Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from its live and backup systems. Raw native crash dumps are held temporarily while the crash is processed. See Firebase's privacy and retention information.

Delete your data

To delete your Misodoku cloud account and save in the app, open Settings → Delete account & cloud data and confirm. This removes your Firebase Authentication account and the cloud copy of your progress. It signs you out; progress on that phone stays until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. If the account deletion needs a fresh sign-in, choose Finish deleting account and use the same account, or request deletion by email below.

You can also request account and data deletion without reinstalling the game. Follow the instructions on our account and data deletion page, or email labs@avanyan.net with the subject “Misodoku account and data deletion”. Include the email used for Google or Apple sign-in if you want the cloud account deleted, and your Player ID (Settings → tap Player ID to copy it), if available, for Firebase and Tenjin installation data. Tell us whether to delete your cloud account, your installation data, or both. We may verify ownership before deleting an account. Never send a password.

We will confirm completion or explain any information needed to find your records. Records required for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes remain restricted to those purposes for the applicable retention period; we explain any exception and its duration in our response. Provider backups and security logs expire under their retention schedules.

Deleting analytics data does not affect records held independently by Google Play or Apple (such as purchase or refund records); those are handled through the relevant store.

Security and international processing

We use encrypted connections to transmit data to Firebase and our online services, and restrict access to collected data to authorized service functions and support needs. Each cloud save can be read and changed only by the signed-in account that owns it.

We operate from Armenia. Google, Apple, and our other service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, international transfers use applicable safeguards, such as contractual protections. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

Device access

Misodoku does not require access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location. Advertising and online services can estimate approximate location from technical information such as an IP address. Touch input and haptic feedback are used to play the game and respond to your actions.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you; to object to or restrict processing; and to opt out of targeted advertising or sharing, including under US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Contact labs@avanyan.net to make a request. Where applicable, we process information to provide the game and fulfill purchases, with consent for processing that requires it, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the game, or to meet legal obligations. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where it applies.

Children’s privacy

Misodoku is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child’s information has been collected, contact labs@avanyan.net and we will investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Changes and contact

We update the effective date when this policy changes. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we provide it before the relevant processing begins.
