This policy explains how Robber Cat, our mobile game for Android and iOS, collects, uses, stores, and shares information. Robber Cat is developed and operated by Edgar Avanyan, an individual entrepreneur registered in Armenia, under the Avanyan Labs name. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator.
Player identity and cloud saves
Robber Cat stores game data on your device and in Google Firebase. A player identifier associates your cloud records with your profile. This may be a guest identifier. If you use an available sign-in or recovery option, we also process the account identifiers and account information supplied through that option.
Saved information includes:
- Levels reached, best distances, completed areas, and upgrades.
- Coin and gem balances, earned rewards, and daily claim history.
- Player identifiers, save timestamps, and reward or purchase records.
- Game preferences, such as aim controls, sensitivity, sound, and haptics, which can also be stored locally.
We use these records to maintain and synchronize progress, deliver purchased items and rewards, prevent duplicate claims, and support recovery where your profile can be identified. Firebase also processes technical information, such as IP addresses and connection or authentication records, to provide and protect these services.
Your device’s backup services may include local app data, depending on your operating system and backup settings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how Robber Cat is played, improve the game, identify problems, and balance levels and progression.
Analytics includes events such as app sessions, levels played, run results, upgrades, shop interactions, ad interactions, and purchase events. It also includes technical information such as app version, device type, operating system, language, app-instance or installation identifiers, and approximate region.
We use these records to evaluate gameplay, retention, advertising, and purchases. We do not send support messages, passwords, or full payment-card details as gameplay analytics. Optional data collection follows the applicable consent choices described below.
Ads and rewarded videos
We use Google AdMob to show advertising, including optional rewarded videos and interstitial ads between gameplay sessions.
Google and its advertising partners process information to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, and prevent fraud. This can include IP addresses and approximate location, advertising or app/device identifiers, app and ad interactions, video views, and diagnostic information.
Ads may be personalized where permitted by law, age-related eligibility, consent, and device settings. Otherwise, non-personalized or limited ads may be shown. These ads can still process information for delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
For rewarded videos, we associate the completion and verification record with your player identifier to grant the correct reward once. This includes the reward, completion time, and an ad transaction identifier.
In-app purchases
Virtual items, such as gem packs, are purchased through Google Play on Android or Apple’s App Store on iOS. The store processes your payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card number or banking credentials.
We process purchase records such as product identifiers, store transaction identifiers or purchase tokens, purchase time, price and currency where supplied, purchase or refund status, and the player identifier used to deliver an item. These records are stored with our game services, including Firebase.
We use purchase records to verify transactions, deliver items, prevent duplicate delivery and fraud, reconcile refunds, and handle purchase-related support requests.
Support information
When you contact labs@avanyan.net, we receive your email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. You may also provide a player identifier, device model, app version, or store transaction reference.
We use this information to respond, investigate problems, and keep necessary support records. Our email provider processes correspondence to deliver and store it. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card information.
Who receives information
Information is processed by the providers needed for these features:
- Google Firebase: player identity, cloud saves, reward and purchase records, and technical information needed to operate and secure the game. Firebase privacy information.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: game and app events, installation identifiers, and technical information for analytics. Google privacy policy.
- Google AdMob and advertising partners: ad identifiers, interactions, approximate location, diagnostics, and reward verification data. How Google uses information from apps.
- Google Play and Apple: payment processing and purchase verification. Google privacy policy; Apple privacy policy.
- Email and website hosting providers: support correspondence and the technical information needed to serve this website. See our website privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing with advertising partners for personalized ads may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. The privacy choices below apply to that processing.
We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect the security and legal rights of our players or business. We limit such disclosures to the information needed.
Privacy choices and consent
Where required, we ask for consent before optional analytics or advertising processing begins. You can review or withdraw applicable choices through the game’s privacy options. Withdrawing consent affects future processing and does not make earlier processing unlawful.
You can also manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions in your device settings. On iOS, tracking that requires Apple’s permission is subject to the system tracking prompt. You may decline optional rewarded videos and choose not to make purchases.
Changing analytics or advertising choices does not automatically erase cloud saves or records needed to operate your profile. For deletion, follow the instructions below.
How long information is kept
We keep player profiles and cloud progress while needed to provide saved progress, rewards, and purchased items, or until you request deletion, subject to the limited exceptions below.
Purchase, refund, and reward-verification records are kept as long as needed for delivery, reconciliation, fraud prevention, disputes, and applicable accounting or legal requirements. Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve and follow up on your request.
Analytics and diagnostic information is retained for the period needed to understand usage and resolve problems, subject to the retention settings and deletion processes of the relevant services. Backups and provider security logs may take additional time to expire under those providers’ retention schedules.
Delete your player account or data
To request deletion of your Robber Cat player account and associated cloud data, email labs@avanyan.net with the subject “Robber Cat data deletion.” Include your player identifier, if available, and enough information for us to locate your profile. Do not send your password. We may ask you to verify ownership before acting on the request.
We delete the associated player profile, cloud saves, and personal information we control, except for limited records retained for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. Those records are restricted to those purposes. We explain any applicable exception when responding to your request.
Resetting progress or uninstalling the game does not by itself delete cloud data. A progress reset may preserve claim and transaction history to prevent duplicate rewards. To erase local records, use your device’s app-data removal options; to delete cloud records, make the request above.
Deletion can remove access to progress and unused virtual items. It does not automatically request a refund or delete records retained independently by Google Play or Apple. Store refund and data requests are handled through the relevant store.
Security and international processing
We use encrypted connections to transmit data to Firebase and our online services, and restrict access to player data to authorized service functions and support needs. Protecting your device and any linked sign-in account also helps protect your progress.
We operate from Armenia. Google, Apple, and our other service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, international transfers use applicable safeguards, such as contractual protections. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
Device access
Robber Cat’s gameplay does not require access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location. Advertising and online services can estimate approximate location from technical information such as an IP address. Touch input and haptic feedback are used to control the game and respond to your actions.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you; to object to or restrict processing; and to opt out of targeted advertising or sharing. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Contact labs@avanyan.net to make a request. Where applicable, we process information to provide the game and fulfill purchases, with consent for processing that requires it, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the game, or to meet legal obligations. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where it applies.
Children’s privacy
Children receive additional protections under privacy laws. Where we know a player is a child, we apply the applicable restrictions on personal information, personalized advertising, and consent. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child’s information has been collected improperly, contact us so we can investigate and delete that information where appropriate.
Changes and contact
We update the effective date when this policy changes. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we provide it before the relevant processing begins.
